Coaches make decisions all the time that if they work out, you’re a gutsy genius, and if they don’t, you’re an idiot. I would’ve kicked the field goal and trusted my defense.
What in the hell was he thinking?... tie game, under a minute to play, chip shot field goal... and he went for it 4th-1???

Worst I’ve done is destroy a light fixture in my apartment in a game vs Alabama in the 90s. Late in close game, 4th & short near midfield. We went for it and ran 47 yards for a TD. I jumped up arms in air & yelled Touchdown! Light fixture came crashing down & shattered in the coffee table. It was worth it.

The difference is Lebby’s hardly ever work out beside the Arkansas win on 4th and the TD.
On Vanderbilt’s last possession in regulation they had 4th &1 I believe with 2 timeouts left. I didn’t understand why they didn’t take a TO after seeing what the defense setup was. I feel like if they had done that, overtime wouldn’t have been needed to win the game.
