Just for the sake of trying to put some of these stats together, can anyone list the following for their leading rushers:
total yds, attempts, tds, games played, class and if possible total rushing yards for the team. There are only two or three teams that I have found easily so the information is scarce to say the least.

I will start with the aforementioned RH back that was in question:
Z. Smiley-1654 yds, 194 att, 28 tds, 14 gp, Sophomore

I am still looking for the other 3 backs that had significant carries for the Red Team. If anyone has a solid source for gathering information on these teams please let me know.

Per Max Preps, which I believe the stats are entered by a WP coach, Porter had 208 carries for 1254 yards in 8 games. Average of 6 yards per carry and 156.8 yards a game with 14 touchdowns and 90 points total.

I think I also have Patrick Henry's two feature backs:

Brown-2116 yds, 194 att, 29 tds, 13 gp
Smith-1490yds, 149 att, 16 tds, 13 gp

That's impressive to avg 10ypc out of two backs and end up with 3600yds between the two. Both are Juniors so look for PH GS to have a legitimate shot at representing Region D next year. There are 1000 more yards rushing listed on the season from this team so who else contributed? WOW

I believe I have Greg Sanchez so someone correct me if I have the numbers wrong:

Sanchez-1972 yds, 191 att, 25 tds, 15gp

Certainly good numbers but I would have a hard time putting him as OPY over Brown looking at the numbers. Mr Sanchez did also have 3 receiving TD's and a return as well. So I suppose its splitting hairs to a degree.
I don't have team totals for Chilhowie but I know they had 658 pts on the season and not many were field goals so that's a pile of scoring out there. Who was the other significant contributor besides the QB Zach Cale?

I also think you have to look at the competition and the stats against good teams. Smiley did it against predominantly 2A teams and most were playoff teams. I think that definitely has to be taken into consideration. Not knocking Sanchez because he has no control over the competition but look at his stats when he played Riverheads. I think he had like 26 yds and no scores so how does that warrant OPOY? Not knocking him just stating facts no doubt hes still a good back.

I think Brown had 3 other td's and 24 2 pt conversions acording the Bristol Herlad Courier stats.

Thanks for the information. You wouldn't by chance have the team total for rushing and number of attempts would you?
