Whole class represented by two regions. Why these games are home games is beyond me...that is absolutely ridiculous. Needs to be a neutral site. Anyways.
I was very surprised with how Handley dominated Heritage Leesburg. This was months ago but Atlee's only loss was to Heritage on a buzzer beater...transitive property looks good for Judges right now. I would bet on Varina to win that game but man...that's a long trip and a packed gym to play a team that has lost one game all year and Spring Mills isn't even in VA. Can't wait to watch that one online. Handley is still young and Varina has been here in the past so I am expecting some youth to show up finally for the Judges but they have shown no signs of that yet.
DJ Best put on a masterclass to come back down 9 at half to beat Tuscy at Tuscy, winning the second half by 18 I believe. Unfortunately that recording isn't up on NFHS so I haven't been able to go back and watch it again. Atlee did a good job of holding a very good Churchland team at bay. I think in the end Atlee has enough offensive firepower to overwhelm the Hilltoppers but could very well go the other way.
So I am picking Varina and Atlee again in a 4B rematch but could honestly see any of these four teams in the championship.
