According to Maxpreps they are doing the cross bracketing for C4 which I love.

I think Hampton’s size will give Varina some problems. If Brian Mitchell is on, Varina will beat Hampton.

Depending on which Churchland team shows up, they could win it all. They are very inconsistent.

I like Atlee a lot but the “they haven’t been here before” factor showed up against Varina a few times. They hit some big shots when they needed to. They’re well coached and their guys know their role. Every mid major in Virginia should have Will Hopkins on speed dial right now. Best player in C4.

My hot take: I don’t know if I see Atlee beating Varina if they play in the Siegel Center.

I believe C4 and C3 will have the best games at VCU this year. I’d like to see Churchland and Varina go at it again with Varina’s full arsenal this time. Axselle will be the x-factor when Hopkins isn’t on if Atlee is going to make a run…
