I'd never say it doesn't exist, but not to the extent you believe it does, imo. Come on paxxx, don't be so liberal snowflakey.....it's our job to whine about bigotry. It seems you are acknowledging anti-Christian bigotry. Thanks.

Frankly, I don't care what another person believes. I do care when Christians believe this is their nation, and they have more right to it than others. I think you're on the fringe here. You love our nation, but you see it as a nation for Christians....many do. That's the backlash....it's not intellectually dishonest....it's a frustration with the nation being "for Christians" for a very long time, and wanting it to change. Mistakenly not to take away from Christian rights, but to allow more liberty for others.Boom, I may be more sensitive to it and thus see it more often or it resonates more frequently with me. Many liberals hate Christianity (not saying you) because they believe incorrectly that Christians stop or try to stop issues that libs love (e.g. abortion on demand, gay marriage, gay rights, civil rights, Muslim rights, etc.) because Christianity teaches that there is a right and a wrong. Many liberals don't believe in a right vs. wrong argument.
True Christians don't hate gay people. They may disagree with their lifestyle, they may disagree with their ability to marry, but that doesn't mean they hate them. They don't hate the women who have abortions but they do believe a life from God has been taken, the most innocent among us). Libs believe Christians are bad because they help to stop parts of the liberal agenda. So yes, I see this bigotry often. I see it in Hollywood. I see it on TV. I see it in op ed pieces in newspapers. I see it in campaigns. If libs were intellectually honest, they would dislike Muslims much more than Christians since Muslims are much more Orthodox in their views and take much more aggressive actions against those that offend their beliefs.

Don't get me wrong: I hate backlash, it complicates things. People get too aggressive, people get too defensive, and real solutions are lost. It's not as combative as you seem to think it is.
That's disengenuous. There was plenty of hate because of his religious displays in games due to the attention he received. You are finding what you want to find. The overarching complaints about Tebow was based on his ability as a QB, not anything about his religious beliefs.
Maybe I mixed up yours and ATL's sentiments. I know I did have a long debate with you in which you were hell bent on getting me to admit that the nation is of Christian principles (I remember something about the commandments hanging in the Supreme Court). I apologize if that's not what you think. You're lying Boom. Just flat out lying. I have never said this nation is only for Christians. That would be absurd. I don't know a single Christian that believes that. I'm not even sure why you would make something up like this. It serves no purpose other than to deceive.
There is anti Christian bigotry in the media, on TV, in Hollywood, in op ads, in popular culture, etc. It is there and evident for all that have an open mind. Why is that? I explained why in my earlier post.

But like I said, backlash. It's backlash, andesire to see what has been common place practice ended so much that people get over aggressive. Not saying it's right. But the hatred of Christianity isn't as much of a given among liberals as you think.
When faced with facts that refute his claims, the atheist takes science name in vain.Geez. Go get a crying towel FFS.
