But it wouldn't have made any difference. That team would have found a way to win, anyway. If he had been called down, the MSU would have gotten a safety and then a FG, and maybe won in OT.

I was at the game and I thought for sure he was down. Later, the replays were not particularly conclusive, but it sure looked like he bounced in.
