That means making sure the team executes your defense and rebounding. We did neither tonight.

But still an awful loss with everything on the line. If MSU was in the "last 4 in" before this game, it stands to reason they're in the "last 4 out" after this loss. Bad loss.

But there is no excuse for our entire team to get Campell hands with the season on the line, that falls on Rick. Bad loss. Bad bad bad bad loss

Defense killed us and Turner even played poorly when he was in. about as bad a defensive effort as I've seen in years.

Who gives a 17 who to blame it on? Does it really matter? A loss is a loss. Anyone who's truly surprised MSU lost tonight hasn't been an MSU fan for very long. We'll probably beat UT Saturday just to prove how illogical this loss to AU was.

I don't know what the final stats were but, last I saw we were shooting 50%........but Auburn was shooting 60%.
They hit everything they threw up. Even their 50% free throw shooter couldn't miss. Auburn was hot!!

he was late getting out when he should have already been shading that way.

they have always been an offensive team that gives us fits every year. This is nothing new...

although they ate the zone up- I understand why he tried it to protect Jarvis...its just the fact that we could notafford to lose this game and we got our *** beat by a 5-9 team in the SEC. Thats just what is disappointing in a season full of disappointments

Auburn shoots 12 free throws in Starkville and we shoot 23. Tonight at home they shoot 31 and we shoot 11. We actually didn't do that bad a job on Waller, he is a great shooter but how many uncontested lay ups did they shoot? Plenty and we won't beat many teams giving up 80 points or more but you can now go have a cool one because it will give you more material for the next few days. Knox made us look silly and a lot of it was Jarvis trying to cover up our defensive ineffiencies.

Lebo should be fired...that group should have been an NCAA team last year or this year

It was their last game in that arena. They had emotions. Nothing Stans could do about it.

who coaches our defense?

NIT is going to be extremely damn disappointing if we don't run off some wins

We should not have played much zone at all. How do you beat a zone, you shoot lights out from downtown, and Waller has been doing that for the last several games. What made Rick think he would go cold tonight? Poor defensive planing.

The zone allowed us to rest some and not have to chase them around, plus protect Jarvis a little.

But when we went man, they cleared the lane and had good matchups to take us off the dribble at the 3 and 4 positions, They also ran some ball screens and made us switch a bigger guy on a guard.
