So correct me if I am wrong.....but Bolden strings UK along all this time , then for some reason I cannot grasp he follows Brad Calipari last night on twitter, and if that was not enough wears a TCU shirt to his signing day. Anyone else think that is classless and pathetic?

As a side note, I love or group we got coming in and cannot wait to see them play, I also think IF UK plays pUKe then our guys will be fired up!

Are you serious? Stop. The kid picked Duke. That's his choice to make. Deal with it.

Don't know if he was intentionally trying to screw with people or not, but wearing the TCU shirt to the announcement presser was reallly weird. Seriously, neither he nor his family could see how that would confuse people?

The kid reminds me of that UL recruit who picked the UK hat up then out it down and picked UL.

He prob didn't commit right away to Duke to make it look better If he didn't commit to them as soon as they kicked the pg off the team to make room for him.

I don't know if I would say it was classless and pathetic, but rather annoying. He just seemed like a dude who was loving this attention and had no problem drawing it out as long as possible. Which seems to be a growing trend with some recruits, especially those considering UK. Let's be honest, if he committed to Duke 2 months back he wouldn't have gotten nearly all this attention. That's not a knock on him as a player, but kind of the nature of this recruiting beast. The media ate it up and turned it into a big UK vs Duke battle, and every other day there was something coming out about Bolden. I'm sure he was loving the attention and presence on social media.

Oh well it sucks to lose out on him, but we got a hell of a group coming in. I'm never one to count Cal out. It seems whenever BBN takes a gut punch, Cal is out there with good news right around the corner.

The only people with a poor opinion of him are the few who, on their own, decided to follow HIS recruitment. The other 99 % don't even know who he is.

If you were Bolden, who would you have picked and why? K is the only coach with a larger persona than Cal. And K/Dook get room service treatment from the media.

I'm not certain he made a mistake, even though I'm bleeding a little.

Uh man. That's not how it works in Kentucky. This is BBN dude. We love our team. We're passionate, loyal, and we don't accept losing. Winning is everything. On the court and in recruiting. UK basketball is life and death with us. Or the true hardcore fans anyways. So screw that way of thinking and screw that ignorant kid Marques Bolden. I wish him nothing but the worst. Show Class? F that. I'm not a classy person. I'm a redneck and I'm gonna act like a redneck. I cant wait to see Bolden come back as a sophomore at Dook when he could have been a 1 and done, 1st round pick here.

Go on back to the Dookie board, and then when the season starts have fun watching Gayson Allen and the rest of y'all's preppy little, virgin choir boys. Cant wait to see how Dook implodes this year. If you're too stupid to realize it. You have no TRUE PG, a crippled Harry Giles, and two of the biggest ball hogging, me players in the nation in Gayson Allen, and Jayson Tatum. You're in for a big surprise when y'all enter the tourney as a 3-4 seed and 7-8 losses.

In fairness, it's not just Bolden. It's just the times we live in. He's part of a generation that has grown up with social media, where validation often is measured by how many mentions you get on Twitter or Snapchat or Instagram or whatever. Doesn't matter whether it's good or bad, just that people are talking about you.

He knew people would talk about the TCU shirt. He knew people would talk about who he followed on Twitter. One would think that making the most important decision, to this point, in his life would have been enough. But that will never get social media buzzing liking "playing" the TCU and UK fans.

These kids can't string along the biggest most passionate fan base, and it's not even close, for attention without consequence. When he does fulfill his goal of playing in the NBA there will be more UK players than any other school playing all around him. I want him to be reminded of this day that he rejected the Big Blue Nation the rest of his life. Beating them in next years tourney would be an excellent start. Nothing personal.

What's more juvenile, a teenager acting like a teenager or grown men following a teenagers every move, wanting that teenager to rush a important decision, and then calling the teenager names and being upset when the kid doesn't do what the grown up wants even bough his decision has zero affect on the adult?? This was a question on CNN and many women and men shook their head and laughed at the adults that do this

He sounded serious to me. Didn't say anything out of line IMO. The kid was classless. He seems to be dealing with it by pointing out the ignorant things the kid did.

These guys are grown but not mature. Just keep telling yourself this. Cal has the core group that he wants and this is one hell of a class. Wasn't that long ago that we would've killed for one of these current recruits let alone two or three. We're blessed.
