He’s that douche Tennessee fan right? When did he switch to the P word(olitics)?

He's like Matt Jones. Talks about politics sometimes, but the people who disagree with them would have you think that's all they talk about.

He literally hosts a political show now. That is all he talks about, at least on the radio.

Haha, well, I clearly haven't been paying attention. When he had his sports show, he touched on politics but it wasn't his focus.

What is he wrong about in your opinion?
He basically want to be Rush jr. Rush was a pill head and one of the worst people on earth. Now I will admit I could not pick him out of a lineup and have not listened to one second of his show. And I never will. But I’m sure he has a following, lots of nuts out there.

I’ve always found it interesting that politics leads some UK fans to love a UT fan who hates Kentucky. The keep politics out of sports crowd seems to like Travis a lot too.

I’ve always found him to be a douche bag going back to his Nashville radio days, well before he got political.

Yeah, he took over the Rush Limbaugh show. I know this because it comes on after KSR on WLAP every day.

He tells athletes to "stick to sports" and then he took his SPORTS website and parlayed it into a political show.

He is an ***-hat.

One day I got into my car at lunchtime, and my phone had been on KSR that morning, and his show came on automatically ... I don't care what your beliefs are, but I don't know how anybody can listen to that crap (either political party). It is just angry people yelling.

His sports shtick is too be an ***...its how he built his career. He just all around hates uk intentionally.

The funny thing about ppl hating him, like @Ed323232 , bc of politics....clay Travis voted for Obama twice. Eds a loyal team guy...not I'll make a choice on my own guy

I mean, I don't know how pointing out absurdities like this makes you absurd politically

Noone loves Jones like Ed and bruner. It's borderline creepy.

A guy that transitioned from regional sports persona to successful nationally syndicated media personality. Clay Travis is everything Jones wants to be, but can't. While Travis casts a nationwide net, Jones is still chasing that additional affiliate in Glasgow KY.

Jones is on ESPN and soon on Netflix. Stay tuned. You guys are really going to be pissed/jealous.

I promise you I really don't care and neither do most. He's just the only option most people have for UK content.

Btw literally anyone can get something added on Netflix. I'm sure his loyal minions will click it over and over for three weeks so he can try to drive it to the top 10 of some list. Meanwhile clay Travis is still a nationally syndicated personality who sold his company for millions and continues to rise.

Don't worry. I'm sure weird low budget parking lot wrestling and .50 wing nights almost have the same national impact.

Love how you know so much about a man you claim to hate.

Clay Travis figured out he could make a lot more money with the Right Wing Grift.

And the people who say “keep politics out of sports!!!” ? What they really mean is keep the politics they don’t like/agree with out of sports.
Funny thing is, Rex is doing the exact same thing on the left. On this site however, Rex is universally hated and occasionally public enemy #1 while some still take up for Travis like he's a folk hero for the working class even though he's spent years shitting on the UK fanbase. Just depends on where you fall politically now days.

Maybe some of them, sure. But that's not the real issue, which is simply people don't like their "heroes" to express opinions they find objectionable.

Obviously, you won't see them objecting to views they don't find objetionable.

I don’t like his opinion on sports teams but his political views are a hell of a lot more important than what some 19 or 20 year old kids do a few times a week for 4-5 months.
