Common sense:
Does Matt Jones like Kyrie Irving?
(looking for common ground)
Common sense:
I don’t like his opinion on sports teams but his political views are a hell of a lot more important than what some 19 or 20 year old kids do a few times a week for 4-5 months.
Funny thing is, Rex is doing the exact same thing on the left. On this site however, Rex is universally hated and occasionally public enemy #1 while some still take up for Travis like he's a folk hero for the working class even though he's spent years shitting on the UK fanbase. Just depends on where you fall politically now days.
Not exactly true.Politics are like sports these days.
You put on your red or blue skirt, grab your pom poms and root for your “team” no matter what they do/don’t do. The rival team is universally bad and your team in universally wonderful.
Nobody votes for candidates anymore. They vote for letters and colors. Both ways. Both equally guilty.
Not exactly true.
But, part of that chasm is due to the fact that both big parties have tried hard to secure the disagreement on key issues so that it’s hard to vote against strongly held beliefs about government, especially when you have two lying sacks of egomaniacal shat as choices.
Clay is scum of the earth. The lowest a human being could be.It cracks me up how members of our fanbase always come to his defense because of politics. Dude has always trashed UK fans and thinks they're beneath him. Clay can get pumped!
I like Matt because he's always been good to me personally. I enjoy the radio show like I enjoy every other podcast I listen to. I don't see how avoiding things I don't like is "creepy"Noone loves Jones like Ed and bruner. It's borderline creepy.
A guy that transitioned from regional sports persona to successful nationally syndicated media personality. Clay Travis is everything Jones wants to be, but can't. While Travis casts a nationwide net, Jones is still chasing that additional affiliate in Glasgow KY.
Do you not find it weird for your entire personality to be built around hating someone?I promise you I really don't care and neither do most. He's just the only option most people have for UK content.
Btw literally anyone can get something added on Netflix. I'm sure his loyal minions will click it over and over for three weeks so he can try to drive it to the top 10 of some list. Meanwhile clay Travis is still a nationally syndicated personality who sold his company for millions and continues to rise.
Don't worry. I'm sure weird low budget parking lot wrestling and .50 wing nights almost have the same national impact.
Didn’t Matt write a book about Mitch McConnell? Was it just about Mitch’s love of the Cardinals or was it politically motivated?I think Jones can be kind of a dick to people and I’ve never listened to his show but good for him for carving out his niche and making bank. That’s what America is all about.
I give him bonus points that he doesn’t scream about crazy right wing **** and doesn’t try to sell MAGA boner pills to his listeners when he diverges onto political topics.
They can both have their own political platforms. That doesn't mean either are really correct but Travis is mostly a character who has created a version of himself to make money. It isn't the real him and therefore you can't really take anything he says seriously. Travis is mostly regurgitating talking points for his fanbase. Matt at least knows he will catch **** for his opinions and still says it.Didn’t Matt write a book about Mitch McConnell? Was it just about Mitch’s love of the Cardinals or was it politically motivated?
Isn’t Clay’s radio show about politics?
Reading this thread, it is clear that political bents are a real motivation for a lot of posters.
Finally, is it okay to take a pass on both Travis and Jones? I don’t find either very entertaining. I don’t begrudge either for finding success within their target audiences, but don’t care for their shows.

He is the host for their Saturday afternoon slot between 1-5pm.What’s Matts espn radio show? i would love to hear it
Do you not find it weird for your entire personality to be built around hating someone?
Also OVW is an indy promotion just like 99% of wrestling is.
He is the host for their Saturday afternoon slot between 1-5pm.
I believe its called "Gameday"
And NFL Countdown to Kickoff.
Also hosted the bracket release show this past Sunday.
Ed is our village idiot. He's been wrong with every opinion I've ever seen him post. Pretty impressive really. What is he wrong about in your opinion?
You go out of your way to seem stupid or does it come natural? He basically want to be Rush jr. Rush was a pill head and one of the worst people on earth. Now I will admit I could not pick him out of a lineup and have not listened to one second of his show. And I never will. But I’m sure he has a following, lots of nuts out there.
At least he found his true calling at the leftist network that nobody watches anymore except for the NFL and MLB games which he has zero idea aboutHe is the host for their Saturday afternoon slot between 1-5pm.

I don't think it's wise to hate anyone. However, given how terrible a person Matt is, I could understand hating him.Do you not find it weird for your entire personality to be built around hating someone?

You have no evidence to support that wild accusation.Travis is mostly a character who has created a version of himself to make money. It isn't the real him and therefore you can't really take anything he says seriously. Travis is mostly regurgitating talking points for his fanbase.
He sincerely supports policies that are destroying our country.Matt Jones has always come off as having genuine convictions based around helping people. Whether you agree or disagree with his politics I do believe he’s sincere.
Keyboard warrior. No bigger douches on earth.Ed is our village idiot. He's been wrong with every opinion I've ever seen him post. Pretty impressive really.
What’s Matts espn radio show? i would love to hear it
You can catch it after the Rex Chapman CNN podcast at 3 amWhat’s Matts espn radio show? i would love to hear it
The ones who bash people like clay Travis or Matt Jones usually support the other.
I’m not sure how difficult it would be to become a political talking head but it sure does seem like free money. Just talking points to the lowest denominator. The issue is it would make you a polarizing public figure which I’m not sure I would want to deal with. I’m sure Tucker Carlson can’t go places without being heckled but it’s free money.
He was on tv prior to being a political personality lmfao. You have no evidence to support that wild accusation.
Tucker Carlson is the epitome of a political opportunist. His “views” are whatever get him the most eyeballs.
