Clayton White listed as DC candidate for UT

I’m sure they’d shoot hire, but he’s included in early lists. Certainly UT has not released any sort of list.

Send the plane back out and go get the Texas Tech d coordinator, Shiel Wood, if we lose White (hopefully we don't). He went to Wofford and Spartanburg high. Probably would love to be back in home state.

Not surprised. If we get Briles, his offense could be kryptonite for our defense. DCs want to see more ball control (running) from their offense, Briles is a passing OC. TCU's defense finished 70th in the nation.

I suspect that former Georgia Tech Head Football Coach Geoff Collins would replace White.

I think Briles is a guy who takes what the D gives him and what his offense is capable of. When the Briles guys were at Baylor, they ran A LOT. Ask UNCheat about that Baylor rushing attack.

I would hate to lose Clayton, especially to the Viles. Hope we can keep him but I think we can get a good one with the talent we have on D. Losing some but getting some good ones too.
