I was telling a good friend of mine a couple of weeks ago, that I thought GT had the right HC, and putting together a solid team, I saw GT as a good bet to be a 9-3 team this year.
This game tells me that this was not some kind of fluke or Clemson not being all that good, but that GT , although not flashy is a solid football team

Georgia Tech's Head Football Coach, Brent Key, reminds me of one of my all time favorite USC Head Football Coaches, Jim Carlen. Both were/are graduates of Georgia Tech and both played on the offensive line. Carlen would have made Carolina a football national power in the 1980s and 90s if it had not been for Holderman. SMH. No, Carlen wasn't a perfect human being. But, he was a damn good football coach. Steve Spurrier spoke VERY highly of Carlen when he passed away. Brent Key will make Georgia Tech an ACC power.
