It’s going to be interesting with Hooker out. I feel he made that offense what it was. But hey, maybe the system is really that good and Milton shows out. Like I said, it’ll be interesting.

Yeah, I noticed that immediately? I thought I was living in an alternate universe for a minute there - lol

Congrats on the game. Among other things, your D really stepped up.

I'm still wondering why your coach got a UC call and DS got a sideline warning. What did JH say to the officials? Did he call them "ccksuckers"?

Youtee with a meaningless bowl win, their fanbase thinks they are back. Bama sense of entitlement with the trophy case vandy, lately.

How the FK do you call that a "meaningless bowl win" ffs? Beat the ACC champion... I hate the vols, too, but they beat a legit team. If you think the bowls Are meaningless, why are you commenting on them.

This just makes it even more meaningful when we beat them next fall. I look forward to the matchup

Pregame announcer before the game was talking about Heupel (can't remember who it was) and he said sonething to the effect of "he never gets too up, never gets too down, always so even keel."

Is this really Heupel's MO? Doesn't seem that way to me at all. Guy is pretty firey. Came off like some Madden announcer schtick that you could've just generically inserted in talking about any coach, but it didn't describe who he was actually talking about at all.

I'm probably thinking too much about this.

Tessitore rooting for Clempson with everything he's got.

Man it was REALLY noticeable in the first qtr/half. Seemed like anytime Clemson was on offense with their “true freshman” QB his voice took on a glaring uptick. I think he was hoping that he would be on-the-call for when “a star is born”. Was driving me crazy. Gus Johnson is the other that employs this tactic. Once EeewTee took a commanding lead his voice went back to fair and balanced.

No idea at all, am hoping to find out today. I know he has a bad habit of being outside the coaches box when the offense is in goal line situations, so I figured they had said something to him previously, and wasted no time in lighting him up.

I did see the official say “you can’t say that to me” on the sideline so gotta think JH said something.

These coaches, not JH specifically, but coaches in general today get away with too much when it comes to yelling at officials. It seems the baseline reaction to any call they deem bad is to go into a fit of rage at these officials. I mean it’s 0-100 and that’s just the standard reaction of all coaches these days. F-bombs flying and pits of anger that seem waaaay over-the-top.

I saw a video of Sarkisian absolutely lose his mind, not on an official, but a production crew guy for holding him back from bringing his team on the field. He basically got nose-to-nose and said “don’t effing touch me” screaming. It’s too much. These dudes need to chill out

I'm sure all of the players and fans enjoyed seeing the Clemson QBs parents on screen every 5 minutes....

New years 6 aren't meaningless. In 2 years this would have been a playoff game, although the two teams wouldn't have been playing each other in the first round.

They have to give him a warning with a flag first. Can't just UC him for being there. That said, he was outside the box during your game with us and was never flagged. He had to have said something

Nothing annoys me more during a broadcast than that BS. Just call the damn game or shut up. Not everything is epic. Not every game a revelation. Just call the game

Perfectly stated. Clemson’s QB took off on a run for like a 15 yard gain and Joe said something along the lines of “so elusive, shifty, and FAST”. I mean they spend the entire pregame going over the kids high school resume basically making him the next John Elway, so by game time any play, no matter how basic, Joe commentated it as if it were spectacular.

Repeat offender officials need to wear shock collars. So tired of big mistakes in games. Blatant missed calls. Made up calls. Overly sensitive officials with god complexes...

Tossing Benny Snell was the end of tolerance of that sht for me. There were people in my section wanting to waterboy the officials during the UL football game. I was right there with em. Fkn ridiculous how biased they were and that wasn't the only game I've seen where they were that bad
