Strong Safety. He is a young guy who played a lot and started multiple games for us. He has a lot of potential. Coach Herron and Coach Carroll are really high on him along with the rest of our rising sophomores and juniors. I hate to lose him. We are pretty deep at our safety positions but I love how he plays against the run. I believe he wants to play running back and that may have been the primary reason for the move.

As a high school coaches you have to look at this job from a pay, resources, prestige, and support standpoint. Job comes with a lot of pressure to win championships. Gaffney is going to end up with a good head coach regardless of who gets it.
I am sure Coach Lloyd with his history of applying for every single good job that comes open has looked at it but he knows not to apply. The fact that Lloyd didn’t have the sack to play the Indians has definitely disqualified him from even sniffing that job. Anyway how was your day? Lol

Thanks. Same with you Crest storm troopers and a few others. I’ve been super busy working out of town on a few things but I should have some free time tomorrow to play on these boards. Praying that all of us are here next season to continue our shenanigans. I seen social media posts quoting this board without knowing that some of us just talk noise to get a reaction out of our rival fanbases lol.

Baseball should be fine for years to come but can 5A really be called big boy football anymore? It's so watered down now and spread out it's hard to tell what big boy ball is anymore. Rumor has it Shelby started a fundraiser yesterday for this coming seasons rings. It's in the bag already and they know it.
You both need to quit focusing on your current coaches and where they went and hope they can recover from that A$$ whipping they are going to get from Burns next year. We are loaded and unlike Fed Ex the delivery won't be stuck in Lincolnton for 9 days. We are delivering A$$ whippings next day air. You read it here first (and probably the only place you will read it)!
High school football in 5A is like watching a bunch of ants try to lift a cheeseburger! The schools keep popping up like we’re trying to make a new flavor of Carolina Panther candy, but where’s the good ol’ smash-mouth style? It's all spread offenses now, like they think they’re at a buffet. Meanwhile, Shelby is out here flexing like they just bench-pressed a tractor! Talking about fundraising for rings before the first whistle is peak Carolina confidence, like 'hold my beer!' How the heck can other teams catch up with that vibe?!
In reality I believe Crest, Shelby, and Burns all are favorites or one of the favorites in their respective classifications. All should have great shots every year of bringing one home. KM will be good and definitely contend but that 6A hill is going to be tough. 6A is pretty loaded with powerhouse programs that you have to deal with. Many people cry about Charlotte Catholic being 6A but the biggest move that has gotten lost in the shuffle is Cardinal Gibbons being placed in 6A. That is the one that I understand the least. Gibbons will be waiting on the other side for whoever represents the west every single year. Bank it.
