Wow! Haven’t seen the replay of that. That shows his character and family for that matter. No discipline at all on or off the field. How the coaches let things like that happen.

If I had a kid that played like that as a parent or coach I would beat his &@$ and he wouldn’t play. Got to love parenting and coaching these days.

lol I hear ya Sausage ! Sloppy horrible game with penalty after penalty but just your typical Crest and Shelby game ! As bad as all that was it was entertaining
I love the rivalry game as much as the next man. I’m all for junk talk on these boards, in person, etc. I really enjoy it. But in good fun and you have to have lines that can’t be crossed.
It has to be addressed. They (Principals, Coaches, AD, County AD, Superintendent) have no option. And if any kids from Crest involved in the scuffle afterwards acted in a way that needs consequences. While I do feel you can only take so much. I 100% understand them addressing that as well. I believe we have some good leaders in the county that needs to quit being scared of the kids last name. And take action.
I also encourage you to look at the film last week Shelby vs KM.
Hopefully the young man from Crest is ok. That could of led to a really bad injury. Still not sure how the officials missed it. Just a really bad look and I believe it led to some words being exchanged in the handshake line.
Last night was THE ABSOLUTE WORST OFFICIALS I have ever witnessed.. I actually will never give refs hell (unlike my friend 
) but WOW they made the game unbearable to watch and then missed call after call .. but the sideline tackle was something like I have never seen and then to be missed from the refs .. that really shows how bad it really was.. I looked up the roster to confirm my thoughts. Then I saw the last name and realized nothing will be done. That was below trash talk in a rivalry. That was malicious and that’s a line you don’t cross. That’s equivalent to the player for Gaffney stomping Tater and that pissed me off. No better time to send a message but I have doubts they do.
I had to do the same thing and now I see what you’re talking about and you’re right. It’s a shame because that kid is dirty and will hurt someone. He doesn’t deserve to play and maybe I’m taking a bit too far but if the coaches don’t do anything they don’t deserve to be there either. The AD and county AD need to do their job as well.

Only way to deal with it is to have someone clean his clock. No one else will do crap about it.

I try not to pile on kids but you are correct, there were a couple of instances in the KM game that I thought this player should have been tossed. There was one play that was pretty egregious right in front of the official.
How can something this visible, being talked about all over Facebook, with video evidence be overlooked?
Be in that family. Maybe run a half sprint after practice to learn a lesson.

Half of our penalties were dirty plays from that same player that we somehow got an offsetting penalty for.
I don’t care how many Crest got. It’s the point that the kid is dirty on the field and now even when he’s on the sidelines. I’ll say it again, the coaches all the crap to go on.
As a neutral party, the play in that clip goes far beyond a “got-caught- up-in-the-moment” unsportsmanlike call. A coach has to discipline those type of character issues harshly, if they don’t you have one of two scenarios. 1) A coach that cares only about winning and little regards for anything else or 2) A coach that’s spineless. Neither are good.
The Shelby coach could handle this easily in his case. Suspend the kid for one to two games because Shelby can probably win the majority of their regular season without half their starters.

Which video are you talking about? I'm sure you have studied both videos and will soon have a response. Hopefully you will not be bias for either team.
The only one I’ve seen is where #4, on the sidelines, hits a player during a play. There’s no defending that player at all and there’s no place for that at any level. Hopefully you’ll have a non biased response to the video I’m talking about.
