The chances are as good as Shelby petitioning to play up.
Burns is a 4A team and a 4A school looking across the board at all sports. We are exactly where we need to be.

Glad to put the last couple of weeks behind us. It’s a new season. We should get some kids back which should help but first we have to psychologically regroup as a team. The positive is at least teams will not have good tape on us lol
Byes historically tend to screw Burns....at least the regular seasons ones do... Hopefully that trend stays out of the playoffs.....
I'm not a big fan of the bye. Most teams come out flat imo after them. If you get a bad draw you might be headed to the house.
I wouldnt be surprised if it's just Crest left in the 3rd round. The other 3 are worse than they think they are.

If Burns can run their offense like they did against Shelby they could do well. You can not prepare for what they were doing.

I know you’re just trying to clown and that is fine but the offense that showed up last Friday can be very successful if they play smart. This is where you come back with some lame reply but that’s ok too because you’re actually pretty funny when you don’t try.

Appreciate it. Last year sucked. My kid broke his collarbone 1st game and we missed playoffs for 1st time in 20 years. This year has been fun. Realignment has helped alot.

They say about assumptions. I fell right it.
They didn’t do it with Lincolnton, or the other CC teams. Coach threw in everything but the Kitchen sink- very impressive variety of options, and onlookers saw that Burns has the Athleticism to pull it off. This team is growing into an understanding of their strengths and potential. It was painful to watch early on but rewarding now. We have had a tendency some in the past to play not to lose. I think a lot of teams do that- but this game was a play to win game, take the risks- I’m so proud of Burns. In our county it’s like we’re David againest Goliath some years. To be competitive you have to do what you can do, and do that well, even if all you’re left with is a few rocks and a sling. At the end of last year we knew we had everything we needed for the next year except a QB. We had 2 potentials, with a different set of strengths. Friday
