Only 7 play football...that would make 6 conference games and 4 or 5 non conference games depending on how they handle the overall football schedule this upcoming alignment.

Great work either way but let's be honest. If Shelby doesn't petition to move up and I have not heard they are, they have a pretty clear path every year. I just don't see anyone consistently giving them a hard time in the playoffs. The big question is, with Reidsville moving up will Shelby come up and join. 2-3 students away from 4A.
You are correct. I am used to throwing Cramer in with the rest of that GC bunch..

These charter schools need to group up and play each other...just like private schools should.
If you don't have/offer all the normal sports like the public schools have traditionally offered AND/OR they charge you money to go to the school = play in your own league.

Heard some rumblings this afternoon that there is a HC opening at a Gaston Co. HS today. Shouldn't be a surprise but I'll wait for someone else to officially announce it.
It will eventually come out. Not sure what the delay is. Embarrassed is my guess.

Surely there is embarrassment. To be so bamboozled and sold as a college recruiting coordinator and the goal being to get kid’s seen and into college, the guy didn’t know how to load the roster properly or include any player’s statistics in maxpreps.
Maybe the guy wasn’t the first choice??? Maybe it got turned down. Sometimes that happens. And then the second choice figures out he wasn’t the first choice. So he turned it down and it just kinda spirals from there

Word is the new coach is already at the school but not involved with current football operations.
Will make you a powerhouse. Get the plays in timely without killing your QB and know when to run it and throw it.

I'd be pleased from a Burns perspective. Although, it couldn't be worse than it has been the past 4 years for us.
After the last 4 years it wouldn’t take much to make us happy but I am ok with this one considering Crest and KM will be our non conference games. Definitely a pretty good schedule with RPI as well.
