Damn ruddy boosters. I hate it when selfish gingers get us in trouble.

Kevin Fant approves of this thread.

They say it was a loan. It doesn't matter.

Clinton-Dix's violation was orders of magnitude worse than Redmond's. Getting paid by a coach vs getting paid by a rouge booster. There is NO comparison.

Redmond got EIGHTEEN GAMES!!! Buzz around the internet is that Clinton-Dix gets one to four games.

When challenged on Redmond our compliance

Group will tell you it was severe because he got caught lying. That's their story.

Clinton-Dix (what's with all the double hyphenated names??) won't play against Georgia State today. Bet he'll really be missed. **

Alabama's schedule for the rest of the year is pretty weak, including us, until they get to LSU. He'll probably be cleared and play that game, so he'll play against us the week after. It it wasn't for LSU, they could suspend him for the year and never know the difference.

Since the Redmond sanctions were self imposed can we appeal to ourselves and try to get Redmond's redshirt year back?

Here's what's wrong with that statement.

I am told by someone in the know that Redmond had no respresentation because MSU wasn't allowed to give him representation due to him not yet being a football player (or student?).

If he isn't an MSU student, then an MSU student didn't lie to the NCAA and there is no penalty for MSU lying to the NCAA.

So our Athletic Department's excuses for not giving Redmond representation and Redmond lying to the NCAA is full of holes. Our Atheletic Department let MSU down. And I'm blaming Bracky Brett.

Bracky makes recommendations and the administration is powerless to say no. If they don't do what Bracky says and that gets out - its loss of institutional control. Bracky Brett may be a nice guy, but he is in WAY over his head and he is an impediment to real progress.

Hey Stricklin, you better handle this. You are riding a 6-8 win bubble that people are going to tire of. You can only rotate the tires (change coaches) so many times, and it is quite expensive to do so. Its going to be a lot more expensive when legions of fans give up.
