Game Thursday at 7:30

For the first time in 15 years of broadcasting I’ll miss a Clinton playoff game. My counterpart Ron will take over the play by play duties while we will have a special guest Darkhorse34 joining him in the booth to talk Clinton football. Shoutout to 34 for joining the broadcast and I’ll be tuning in from Pittsburgh. Go Horses.

Thats a bummer 04 ... I'm sure 34 will do a great job. He always has meaningful posts and knows Clinton football. Good luck guys and to the Darkhorses

Thanks. Me and 4 buddies always plan a road trip for Carolina Games. We try to stay in the ACC venues so we can see all of them. Just so happens we picked Pittsburgh this year and when they moved the game (Clintons) to Thursday I knew I wouldn’t make it. Hotels booked, others depending on me etc. But I’ll be listening to my Pal Ron dust off his old play by play skills with a new announcer in the booth providing probably the most useful color commentary Ron or I have ever had lol. Good luck to the stallions as well.

P.S. DH34 Don’t forger to talk with Ron about Camping. LoL

Clinton kicks off

Fairmont fumbles the ball, returner tackled at Fairmont's 9.

QB Locklear in shotgun....handoff to RB..missed tackles...gain of 8 to the 18.

Locklear handoff to RB on left side, gain of 3 for 1st down.

Locklear takes snap, pass down middle of the field, overthrown.. 2nd down

2nd 10 from 18...Locklear handoff to RB left side, gain of 4
3rd and 6...Locklear pass incomplete

4th and 6, Fairmont to punt.....decent punt. Simpson takes it at the 42, returns it to Fairmont's 24.

1st and 10 Dark Horses

Smith in at QB now....rolling to left, takes it and runs, sacked at the 28..maybe second guessed himself..

2nd down...handoff to Boogie Smith, blown up by Fairmont's LB...wait...facemask Fairmont, 15 yards down to the 20....2nd and 6

Short kick, taken at the 26, Tornadoes return it to the 34.

Locklear in shotgun...takes the snap, thrown to the flat, incomplete

2nd and 10 8:25 left 3rd

Locklear on the keeper for a gain of 4
3rd and 6 at Fairmont's 38

Locklear tucks it and runs, 1st down Tornadoes.

At the 50...Locklear rolls out to the left, pass incomplete, flag on the play. Pass interference Horses, ball moved to the Horses' 35.

Direct snap, Darkhorses sniffed it out after a gain of 3.

2nd and 6 at the Darkhorse 31....Time out Horses. 6:52

Locklear throws it left, incomplete.....3rd and 6

Some of the comments post game about Clinton and the conference is rubbing me the wrong way......last night we didnt have our most efficient offensive performance but it was still pretty darn good i mean Zyion Simpson was awesome great play by the line,running by Smith,Wallace, the catches by Wilson, and Williams and that defense continues to impress as a fan what else could.you ask for i thought it was a solid performance GO Horses

We could have hung another 2 or 3 TD’s on them if we had to. They kept the play calling simple. Didn’t have to do anything special to beat them. On to the next game.

Come on .U did not over power us .i am not going to be like Wallace an cry about missing players.We had couple starter out..I thought this game waz suppose to be running clock.Two down by Clinton waz not overpowering just self inflected .Overrated to the tenth power

Exactly the best thing we can do as fans is ignore the outside noise...hey if we are so overrated BEAT US!!! GO HORSES!!!!!!
