Its the playoffs i hope we dont come out complacent cause we just beat them last night.....may have to add in some different wrinkles cause they have seen what we are bringing......they gonna try and shut our run game down and counter our blitzing......really hope Donte is finally ready to go that secondary has to show up Friday night

I think this happened in the nfl once and the teams knew it going in. I am sure neither team showed their hand in the final regular season game.

Your situation is more like game six of the World Series. You can’t hold back anything or there will be no game seven. I’m sure the coaches can find that wrinkle needed.

I don't like this 1 bit. They should have gave us JK and sent Greene Central to Clinton. When you have this many teams in the dang playoffs there is absolutely no need for 2 teams from the same conference playing in the first round!

I have to disagree. I think the rules for seeding should be in place based solely on record and standing. After following these guidelines, if you play a familiar foe, so be it. If by the standard, team A is a 12 seed they should play the 5 seed regardless of who that team may be.

Would you like to be an 11 seed that magically got bumped to the 12 because the 12 seed had to play a conference foe? You are an 11 and should play the number 6 team. Now you are facing playing a higher seed. What if the six seed was the Cleveland Browns and the five seed was the New England patriots? Would you be happy about that change?

Again, set the guidelines and play the teams that fall into the bracket. May not be perfect, but it treats every team equally.

I absolutely agree! The preliminary brackets had us playing Bertie. IMO the great thing about the playoffs is playing teams you normally don't play.

I mean we played them well the touchdowns they did score were results of just unreal plays made by their QB......Coaches just got to stay on the guys and make sure they are not going to be complacent

1st round cakewalk for Clinton....lol

You can never be to sure especially a conference foe...even with our lapses in pass defense we still beat them pretty handily last night.....also that was with Smith playing only one drive and 2 starting olinemen out and a dlinemen

Come on Dark, you know for a fact y’all will clobber them again. You might as well go ahead and say it and stop with the “humble pie” talk...lol

P.S. I want those tiggers gone in the first round!

Playoffs you can’t ever count anyone out. I remember Midway beating a extremely talented JK team at home in 2nd round anything can happen. I don’t think it’s right the State paired us with them in bracket but you gotta play who they put you with. I do think that #4 for JK will be playing.

The only thing not right about the pairing is jks bus ride home won’t be long enough.

Highschoolot has put Clinton on upset alert, they think JK will upset the Horses in the first round.

If it wasnt for a great defensive effort on those pick 6s it could have been closer....Clinton has some things in the secondary they have to tighten up if they expect to make a run....also being to one dimensional offensively....injuries have played a huge role this season but its no excuse....we are a better team we should win but JK has a dangerous QB and we saw how fast they could score they thrive off the big play....we cant let them hang around

It will take the perfect game and a good amount of luck. I just would like Avent to take care of the ball and give us a chance. He doesn’t have to make every play a “hero” play, just get the ball out fast and don’t get caught running for your life.

I think the world of Claus, but Avent could have really helped last year's Dark Horse team. Him at QB and Claus at RB....wow!

Where is that coming from? Agent wouldn’t have been used the way he is now, handing it off 40x a game wouldn’t show off his arm or scrambling ability. Not saying your wrong but in Clinton’s old offense, Avent wouldn’t be anything special. In his current offense at Jk, he shines.

If Avent had the O-line that his cousin was lucky enough to have I’d be a lot more confident about this game. I’m interested to see what changes are made this week. I’m also really hopeful #4 plays. JK has to get on scoreboard early to have any chance. Zero turnovers are a must, Avent has to bail on the pass earlier than he did last week and try to get some positive rushing yards. When he is able to pick up 10 15 with his legs on drives it gets the whole team going.

Sad news out of Clinton former womens bball coach and former athletic director Coach Karen Fox passed away last night
