We know what we've got with Damian, but how about Fitzgerald and Staley? Anyone of them Dak clones - maybe a little? It scares me to think where our team goes with an injury to the starting qb.

I really try not to think about that. Staley and Fitzgerald may be outstanding future players for us, but they're true freshmen in the SEC, and neither one is going to be able to come in and perform anywhere near the level of Dak. Bear in mind that it's not just DP's physical talent that it is so important, but also his poise and leadership. The man just doesn't crack. If we lose him, we'll still no doubt be a team to be reckoned with, but we'll drop immediately from national title contenders to just being a pretty good Top 25 team in my opinion.
We play Damian. Our defense is good enough to keep us in the games.
Obviously as a team, we won't be as good. If Damian flat out proves he cant to it, we play both freshmen.
Just remember the thought of 'dak getting hurt' when we start playing Damian in the next 2 to 3 games after going up 21 or 28 points. Keeps Dak healthy and Damian gets more experience.
