I'm still trying to figure out the connection between RU and country. It might be as simple as trying to get more northeastern people into country music, but there are more effective ways of going about it. I wonder if Delaney has something to do with trying to promote Rutgers rather than Rutgers being used to promote country.

If you listen to the words it's all about mascots and the scarlet knights are not in the actual song

Yeah, they brought the mascots from the 40+ schools who are represented by IMG. I'd assume Paisley is too.
