Pilkington always nibbles around the corners. He cannot get any calls & they are not swinging at pitches outside the zone

I'm watching the game on TV but have sync'ed up the TuneIn Radio app so I can hear Jim and Cohen.

Cohen is really good on the radio.

He's been pointing out how important it as for Konnor to stay ahead in counts, in particular staying in 0-1, and 1-2 counts, not the other way around.

Very interesting to hear his perspective.

Any doubt the draft was messing with this kids head?
MLB has to change the draft date. Is there any real reason it’s in the middle of the college post season? It’s ridiculous, unless I’m missing something which is completely possible.

This B5 feels really important. If he can get thru tough part of their lineup he may carry us to the 7th.

Well he is going to have to hold it here because we have 7, 8, 9 up next inning. Need to roll a DP right now.

I’ve never seen a supposed good pitcher who can’t pitch more than five innings because he’s at 100 pitches or more. He’s apparently talented enough to go in the third round but jeez.

He was drafted on potential. He's had some great outings in his career. He just hasn't done it consistently.

Beautiful. He was drafted high because when he can get ahead in the count and is locating his best pitches are nasty and project to MLB. Some better college pitchers just don't have that.
