You have to assume their strategy is to replace MSNBC as the place for leftists to get their news. This means that MSNBC and CNN will be fighting it out for roughly 50% of the country and those that watch cable news. Great news for Fox as it leaves the other 50% that watches cable news to themselves. Murdoch very, very pleased.
