You are right BUT they are not considered part of "omaha"
Nebraska seems to be divided up into like 3 or maybe 4 parts.
Omaha
Lincoln
Central NE
Western NE
40 years ago Boys Town was "the end of omaha"
Elkhorn was "way out there"
Bennington was "a tiny little town"
All that has changed.
Fremont is still weird because they are close to Omaha but still sooooooooo separate.
Norfolk is western NE to anyone from Omaha.
Right, but I never said Norfolk and Fremont were part of Omaha.
I get Omahan's think Norfolk is western NE, but they also think there's the "western" NE and then there's the "really western" NE.
@orclover11 knew what he meant by western NE and it wasnt Norfolk or Fremont. He's also FOS when claiming adults today in western NE throw out racial slurs during ball games.
He told me to do "research", but then only came up with two examples of non-western NE kids (not adults) acting like idiots.
I think west omaha, Elkhorn and Gretna people know the difference between western NE and not. They'll at least get to York... maybe Grand Island before they start saying "western NE".
