Coach K retiring

Brad Stevens heads to the Celtics front office and this happens the same day? Seems like more than just coincidence to me.
Enjoy your title this year, Duke. Could be a while until your next one.
I really hope Jon Scheyer gets the job.
Duke should be able to get interest from most people in the business and they are going to settle for Jon Scheyer.
Yeah this is going to be his farewell season.
Let’s hope Puke SUCKS this season or it’s a Title for them.
It’s all lining up for cal and U.K. to take center stage and dominate the next few years. With the good ole boy club gone (UNC and DUKE) UK can dominate again.
The committee will do all they can to match up UK and Duke in the tournament. K will get the John Wooden 1975 treatment regardless.
Espn will be nauseating this year. More so than usual.
IT JUST KEEPS GETTING BETTER! Duke is making a Mike Davis hire!
Hard not to think otherwise. All the more reason to beat them early when we play them.
How nice would it be to send him out with an L? From the program he tried to imitate for decades.
You’re right Arcadia for those old enough to remember they handed wooden the title especially the last game against us
Happy to see him go but no denying he had an incredible career.
Good riddance.
Good riddance.
I think it says a lot that Duke and UNC are very incestuous with their hirings. With as much shady **** as they engage in, it makes sense.
None of K’s assistants have done anything on their own.

Duke Vitale's head is going to explode
Cue the Tom Crean to Duke rumors. I'll start.
Duke will be utterly unwatchable this year with all the fawning over K. Hell - college basketball will be unwatchable.
As I said before when all the rumors were going around - absolutely no way is K retiring without his season long ***-kissing farewell tour. No way would he pull a Roy.

We need to beat Duke this year and get the last punch on exit. It’s a moral imperative

Never heard of the guy...another white privilege guy
wonder if they'll be any squawking
OMG......ESPN will be even MORE unwatchable this season. The lovefest will be epic. Might as well just call the NCAAT next year the Duke Invitational because they will catch every single break possible......like they don't already.....but geeeeeezzzz its going to be sickening.
Cal better not come out with some “farewell message to a good friend and ambassador to the game” BS.
A title was stolen from us by Wooden announcing his retirement right before the ‘75 championship game.
Only right that nature course corrects, finally, and we beat K in the championship game and send his *** into retirement with an L and make the media cry big, fat delicious tears.

It has to be Scheyer or they wouldn't be able to recruit the 2022 guys.
I'm sure he will be named the coach in the next day or two.
Cal and staff are finna pillage these fools on the trail.

Not everyone in the world is as fascinated with Stevens as a lot of you on this board. Duke is not going to hire a coach that did not play there. They are not going to hire Stevens.
Rick Pitino to Duke. Now wouldn’t that be fun?
Duke will win the title this year. The powers that be will see to it that they do.
LETS FREAKING GO.
We have to beat Duke one final time with K on the sidelines though.
