I bet he'd fix our discipline and respect problem. I don't know if he can recruit top level talent anymore but he sure can scare the **** outta whatever he does get. He's got almost 900 wins I believe and 3 National Championships. I think he should get some consideration if Wichita State's coach and Duke scrubs are getting theirs. Hell I never heard of Texas Tech in basketball before or after he left. Without looking it up I bet Coach Knight holds the record for most tourney appearances at that school. Can you imagine the extra attention he'd bring our school? ESPN loves him they'd put us on every other week.

I think Bobby Knight would be a bad move for MSU. Would not support that hire.

Having said that, the guy knows basketball and can win games if players will listen. I would play for him if I was a recruit. It would never work at MSU. Too many knuckleheads with attitudes and lack of mental toughness. Today's athletes and Bobby Knight are like oil and water.

where he worked the hell out of people that were passed over by major schools. But I think the athletes he'd get atState largely wouldn't have the coaching at high school to run his offense without at least a year or two in his system and I don't think they'd react well to him. He could certainly pass on some of the athleticism to get players with the right attitude, and with how ****** the SEC is right now, that'd probably be a winning approach, but ultimately, probably puts a pretty low ceiling on the program.

I don't think he really wants to coach anymore. The question is does he still have the passion for it. It is a full-time job and I think he likes his part-time gig as it is.

and 6 of those seasons were at Indiana. I think he's a great commentator, but I think he's way past his prime as a coach.

how many times did he make the dance? If we are worried we won't get someone to have the same success as Stansbury I'm pretty damn sure we can all agree Coach Knight would surpass it. He'd win the west every year and would have us playing meaningful games during out of conference because ESPN loves him. That puts us in the dance 8 out of the 10 years he'd be here in my opinion.

Not that much better than Stans has done at MSU. He's doing what he needs to be doing right now.
