Bobby Baltimore is not a familar name to the Richmond Region but from 1971-1982 he guided the Powhatan Indians. Baltimore had a mark of 74-50-2 leading the Indians to a Class A Final appearance in 1974. Including that 1974 season Baltimore was 3-3 in the playoffs in 3 appearances and had 8 winning seasons in 12 seasons at the helm. He was the man in Powhatan long before Coach Woodson.
Glen Schrotenboer however is a name many around the region recall, especially Skyhawk Nation. Coach "Dutch" as he was known laid the foundation of what LC Bird football became. For 10 seasons(1982-1991) Coach 'Dutch' took the Skyhawks to heights never achieved before including a Division 6 State Final appearance in 1991. 6-6 in in 6 playoff appearances, the Skyhawks under Coach 'Dutch' had 8 winning seasons and were 85-27. Before Bedwell Coach Schrotenboer was the iconic coach of the Skyhawks.
