our offense works best with a QB that can run the football, and it is a requirement to play QB at State. It is just as important as passing the football for our QB's. Ralph had 194 carries last year, and threw 220 passes. So obviously its just as important in our offense. Now obviouslythey dont want the QB to have that many carries, but they do want it in the 140-150 range. And as we go thru Spring and into the Fall, it will become obvious who the QB is going to be in 2012.
(and yes, I know Mullen said he would adapt his offense to his talent, as any good coach would. And as we talked about numerous times when debating Ralph-Russell going into last Spring- if one QB is clearly a better runner, and its close passing the football, Mullen is going to choose the better runner every time.)
