I will say that I kindly converse with many on this board....especially those whose first post isn't like yours. Don't think I'm going to kiss your *** when you come over here talking **** about the "meltdown" we will soon experience. And I have no idea what the 17 you were talking about in that last paragraph...make sure you study for the English portion of the ACT before your Senior year of High School in a few years.

well and have coaching in place to develop talent and keep the teams performing at high levels. (Bama lost a lot on d but the backups have been biding their time and are also very good and their qb is looking like he might be a really good one.) That leaves you 0 margin of error in the other 10 games and considering 3 of the other teams on your schedule are ranked higher than you (i know, preseason polls are b.s.), that will be tough. You caught just about every break in the books though getting UK and UT from the east and having Petrino gone. I would say 8-4 likely w/ 9-3 top and 7-5 bottom and that's assuming no major injuries and UT doesn't break out. Vegas has your over/under at 7.5 and that seems about right.

unless you have feathers and flew in from Swan Lake. I was responding to the "Great read!" post. Anyone who read that and thought to themselves "Great read!" is a GD moron. If it was written by an OM fan, and I read that prediction for OM I sure as hell wouldn't think to myself "Great read!" I would have thought "This m'fer needs to be fleeced right away". Assuming that any season is going to go perfectly is just poor thinking, especially for OM and State fans. That's basically what he's doing. He's conceding Bama and LSU as speed bumps and the rest is gravy. Hell, I'd say the chances of OM beating State at home this yearare more likely than State winning 10 games. That probably sounds like kooky talk doesn't it?

But Tennessee may end up not being a great break for our schedule. Other than that, I agree with everything you posted.

You conversely nicely with those that agree that Mullen is the second coming and that all things MSU are pure and not to be disparaged in any manner. I don't expect nor need your puckered lips applied to my ***. There is a great portion on this board that will experience the "meltdown", don't worry. It's coming, you know it and I know. And when it does I will revel in it just as you have the past two years. As OM and MSU fans, that's what we do.

The last paragraph was in response to your laughable bit about not ridiculing the Heisman and 10-win years. If you can't discern those complete sentences thenyou must gloss over half the posts here. No need to study, I made a 27 on the English portion about 16 years ago. I'm good.

Like he's a freshman or a JUCO or something or has no SEC starting experience. And if anything, this "change in philosophy" is actually probably what TR is more accustomed to. I would have thought that the run-first option spread would have been what he would have had to adjust to. I just believe he has the growing pains out of the way... now its just adjusting to taking every single snap and beating.

7-5 the most likely and 8-4 very possible. If everything goes well we end up 9-3. And as long as we are somewhere in that range, NOBODY will "melt down". We will all be fine with it.

Everybody talks about our early schedule but they ignore the fact that the very definition of a trap game is there. At Troy. Right after a huge game and it's away at a place where we will be a huge favorite. However not many teams fare well there and it's a well coached team that will win at least 7 games this year. No matter the outcome of auburn, we will be set up for a huge let down. That's the one game that could really derail our season.

The only thing I feel confident about this season is a win over Auburn. I just have a feeling...similar to UF 2000, we have our sights set on AU. After the past two years, you can bet the players and Coach Mullen really want that game. Also it is early in the season. So no injuries or tired bodies. Opening SEC home game....

With all that said, I think UT and Arkansas will be toss ups. A&M and OM will be games in which we can't make mistakes and have turnovers. I can see anything from 6-6 to 9-3.
