You are full of ****. The last few days have proven this to me once and for all.

You get on here last week and claim your "source" in the AD says you will be very happy with the hire. You then do everything but say Petersen's name and claim him as coach. I gave you a pass on this one because there were all kinds of folks providing info their "source" gave them.

Now you get on here today and claim everyone is being as "antsy" as you about the hire? ********. You do nothing but speak in half truth and inuendo, nice way to leave yourself an open no matter what happens.

You do nothing but generalize who it will be and never put a name to it at all. You leave it open so that you can claim some knowledge of what was going on when the coach is named.

How do you go from having some inside info to claiming everyone should basically remain calm? Now you know Hudspeth very well? Sure.

I hope the Cord. you speak of is not Mullen. I live in G'ville and he's about one loss away from getting his nuts cut out by their fans. Of course no one will know who you speak of, OC or DC, you would never give the name would you? That would tie you down a little more than you want.

You know nothing more than anyone else on this thing called the internet.

It wouldn't be so bad if you would just shut the hell up and realize you don't know anything more than anyone not named Greg Byrne.

Do they blame him for whipping people's asses ever since the ole miss game, and getting them to the NC?

I hate on Coach34 as much as anyone else on the board, but lately he has made very level-headed posts. Maybe he's not posting names because he hasn't actually been told any. I'm sure he has a source, but his source can't give specific names.

He made a good post tonight about the coaching search and how it's actually going well. He gave his approval of a few names that are circulating BUT never said for sure that either of them were "a done deal."

If you want to bash on some stupid posts, there are plenty of other good choices.

Take a chill pill and relax.

They're playing in the National Championship. Even retarded Alabama fans like Cowboy say they're just glad to be 12-1 and going to a BCS game.

They lost that game 31-30 on a missed extra point. The coaches they should be pissed at are the defensive coordinator and the special teams coach. Their offense put up 30 points (should have been 31) on one of the top 20 defenses in the country.

They praise Timmy for that.

He wasn't that popular before the season started. The UM loss magnified it an made it worse. Their expectations are not the same as ours, rightly so. Given their talent, he had problems working with it in my opinion. What would he do with us?

Let them lose one or two and see what they think of him.

I don't want him at State. I think there are better options.</p>

what else is there besides the loss to UM? If any Gator fan is dissappointed in this season at all they are the ones that need their nuts cut out. If they are pissed with this staff I hope they wind up with a Croom someday to smack their asses back down to reality.

because as far as I can tell, nobody's been right or wrong about the coaching search since we haven't hired one yet.

K. Lockett put his big paws in front of it. Missed insinuates FL messed up......blocked means OM made a good play; it was blocked.

And in the name of complete precision, would you say that Tebow's multiple overthrows of UF receivers running alone 10 yards behind the defense on the last drive should be attributed to FL messing up or UM's making a play. Last year, I believe the MSU victory was completely attributed (by UM fans) to Orgeron's inexplicable, doomed to fail 4th and 1 gamble. What about UF's doomed to fail Tebow run on 4th and 1 this year. FL messing up or UM executing?

All that said, bottom line: UM is to be congratulated for beating a great FL team in the swamp. But if you are going to be sensitive enough to point out the flaw that took away from UM's credit in the previous post, these are reasonable questions.

Tim Tebow wasn't popular? This coming from a guy who just said a few days ago, "No way it's Mullen, the media is not talking about it around here" or something to that effect.

depends on how you look at it: glass half full or glass half empty
glass half full: OM made a hell of a play and blocked
glass half empty: UF player missed his blocking assignment thus allowing the OM dude to make the block

Either way it was a hell of a play in my book

was because the guy who was supposed to block him fell on his damn face. Lockett didn't blow past him or knock him back, he just jumped over his leg after he had fallen down.

Edited to add: Not trying to take away from Mississippi's accomplishment in any way. Y'all deserved to win that game. But no matter what happened on the extra point, it wasn't Mullins's fault. As an offensive coordinator, you should expect your special teams to make the extra point in that situation every single time, great play by the other team or not.

They give Timmy credit for the turnaround, not Mullen.

I have not heard a word of our search around here. That doesn't mean it's not going to be Mullen, I have no idea, I just know it's not being spoken of here.

And I believe this offensive production you speak of can be attributed to Meyer, Urban.

Yep, that makes sense. You are probably one of those that don't blame Woody for the terrible offensive production at MSU the past 5 seasons.

on the Florida boards after we beat them. It would be hard to convince me that the OC of a 12-1 team with a Heisman winner should be fired, but I don't follow Florida closely enough to have an opinion.

Still a big difference in those two games. The 4th and 1 with O came in the middle of the fourth quarter in the middle of the field with a 14 point lead. The 4th and 1 with Florida came with a minute left in the game Florida down 1 and a first down pretty much puts them in field goal range to win the game.

I also remember the video of the Florida kid going nuts after their loss to Auburn last year, screaming "You're 17ing fired Meyer!"

Nevermind the fact that he was one year removed from a national title, and he's headed to his 2nd title game in 4 years. Basically, college football fans are crazy. They were blaming Mullen for the loss to Ole Miss, even though their defense gave up an average of roughly 9 yards per play whenever we were in the WildRebel. That's Mullen's fault apparently.

It doesn't matter how many points you score and how many games you win if you don't do it the right way.
