Been a long time reader of the pack and enjoy. I played football at state then went on to be a GA at 2 different SEC schools. I know the coaches in the SEC very well as 90 percent of my job was breaking down film and trying to find tendencies. I don't know it all so what I tell you is my opinion. As long as Randy Sanders is an offensive coordinator, the team will suck. He is a great recruiter but he is terrible with x and o's, and I mean terrible. As for our coaches, DM has always been very good but feel like he is way out of his box this year. Not that that is bad just he is not comfortable in this offense. On the other hand, coach Wilson, great recruiter and great coach but not a coordinator. Hate to say it because the talent is there but his main goal is to not give up the big play. So get ready for teams to continue to knickle and dime us. Bucky is a great x and o guy. Some of the things he does are really very good. Problem he has is obvious, no players. I could go on about every school/ coach (except Ark, don't know them). Again, not a know it all but I have been on the front lines with many of the coaches so if you have questions, I will do my best
to answer the best I can.

Mississippi's best running play is something Werner got from Leake Academy when they blasted him out of the playoffs when he was at North Delta. All the excitement on Bucky's offense will slow down in the coming weeks

What impresses you the most about Bucky Freeze?

He's only coached 4 games at this level( as a head coach), what to you makes him so X & O special?

When you have great talent on defense, isnt 'dont give up the big play' a pretty good strategy?

The alternative is to be overly agressive and try to force teams to make bad plays, which leads to: big plays.

If you are below the talent level you need to be in the sec, 'dont give up the big play' will get you beaten like a drum for sure. But when you have our talent and depth on the defensive line, it would seem like a pretty good strategy.
