This post is just a general observation nothing else. Since the beginning of time even in Biblical times it was a common practice for men to be associated with younger women. If you turn back the pages of time one of our most beloved Senators, Strom Thurmond back in the 70's married a 20-year-old co-ed from Winthrop University. So they had a family I think maybe they had 2 or 3 children. I know and understand people's views on older men having relationships with younger women. But I do think that a coach at a major university should keep their relationship at home and not on the sideline. That was truly inappropriate. Even in Biblical times the practice of men having relationships with younger women was an accepted practice as well as men having relationships with maid lady or concubine of his wife. Like beauty it is in the eye of the beholder. Recently I spoke with a young lady at Clemson, and she told me you would not believe the younger females having relationships with older men, but they keep it private, and no one knows about this except for a few of their closest friends. Anyway, this is just a observation that I think is interesting.

Sugar daddies have been around forever. In 1788, Nathaniel Russell was 50 yrs old. He married Sarah Hopton who was 15.

I was in Hilton Head back in July at the Hilton pool. There were more than a couple older (50+) guys with girls who looked very much college age.

John Tylor was the 10th president of the U.S. He was born in 1790. His last living grandson died this year at 96. A big reason-besides living a long time-was John Tylor and his son became fathers in their 60s and 70s thanks to having wives in their 20s.

Strom was 66 when he married his second wife, Nancy, who was 22 and former Miss SC.
