2 and done lolAbout time for Glass to move, eh?
Where? I know you were speaking tongue in cheek, but his goal has consistently been to try and get back to Morganton and he's already been the coach at Patton. The Freedom job is filled and unless he is going to go over to West Caldwell, I can't see why he'd give up the Hickory job. I was a proponent of him getting the FHS job back when we hired Jim Bob, but it seems that someone higher up in Burke County has it in for him so Hickory it is.About time for Glass to move, eh?
I wish he'd mentioned that worthy goal when we interviewed him!Where? Tongue in cheek, for sure, but close enough to reality to make one ponder! I remember when posters told us he'd be a short-timer. I thought they were just poking fun. Your info is very enlightening, tho!I wish he'd mentioned that worthy goal when we interviewed him!
When Jim Bob came to Morganton there were signs that he might stay and signs he might go after a short stay. His wife seemed to like Morganton and they bought a house, but he was interviewed in a paper near Havelock saying that he was trying to max out his income "for retirement" and he only had 4-5 years left until he would have 30 years in the state system. I can't blame a coach for taking a job out of state where he can max out his income with a pension from NC and a salary for just coaching, which we can't match here.I wish he'd mentioned that worthy goal when we interviewed him!
