So, LSU is now going to fire Paul Mainieri, the same coach that many on here INSISTED would have taken State to numerous championship CWS games.
AND, replace him with Bianco, who despite all the talent and 40 win seasons ... has NEVER taken a team to Omaha.

So LSU wants to fire a guy that won a national championship in five years to hire a guy that hasn't been to Omaha and 13 years?
Mainieri`s life in Red Stick is about to get pretty miserable. If you don`t believe that you don`t understand the LSU baseball crowd. I don`t think Bianco would get the job but his name will get mentioned. I`m not saying Mainieri is definitely going to be fired but there will be a large element that is ready for him to go and they`ll go COMPLETELY ballistic if ULL makes it to Omaha.
