I don't listen to MSU related podcasts on a regular basis and know little about any of them. I do love coaching searches though, so I listened to a few to get the "hot names." My rankings are below, from worst to best.

Locked On - It's clear the hosts know little about MSU baseball and didn't put much effort into researching.

Dawghouse (David Murray)- For an those 70 and up I can see where it would be popular, David is a great guy, but very bland and vanilla, not a low energy voice, but even energy, no excitement or cadence.

The Boneyard - I made it 20 minutes. Rosebowl was insufferable, making sure he highlighted his connections. He went really deep into previous baseball seasons. I want to know the top candidates and their pros and cons. I can see where some would like his podcast though, but not my cup of tea.

Thunder and Lighting - By far the best. They were knowledgeable and kept it moving.

I didn't listen to one from Learfield as it is essentially a university podcast.

Did I miss any? I thought Brandon Walker was starting a MSU podcast?

Dear Ol State with J. Coleman is another one, but your rankings are pretty spot on.

Out of Left field and T&L are the best two.

Out of Left Field didn't pull up when I searched, "Mississippi State." I'll give it a listen.
Out of Left Field is the only State podcast I listen too. My boys and I listen to it on the way to school drop off nearly every day. Bart and Charlie out here shaping young minds. My five year old has listened to them so much he recognizes their voices during baseball games.... either I've raised him right or set him up for a lifetime of disappointment. lol.

RoseBowl is insufferable. I only tune in during coaching searches or other big news. But, his ego can only devote a good 10 minutes to actual news…. Outside of that, it’s best hair bands of 1992 and name dropping.

He is a very pathetic individual.
