If the idiot hadn’t come charging out of the dugout arguing balls and strikes after he had been warned to stop arguing balls and strikes, he wouldn’t have gotten ejected in the first place.

Thank you for that input. But once that happened, do you agree with how the umpires handled the situation?

Coaches argue balls and strikes nearly every game. However, what we saw today doesn’t happen. A coach arguing balls and strikes wasn’t the peculiar thing that happened in this game.

It's wild to realize that LSU can only win it all now in baseball. No other sport like they could before.

Brian Kelly will never win it all, and their Mens hoops is crap. Just lady sports and Omaha. And honestly, Omaha better shape up or they will be very boring soon. The jello shot crap has jumped the shark.

What is an umpire supposed to do when he warns a coach and the coach continues to argue including saying "what are you goina do" twice. The idiot coach didn't give him a ton of options.

I don’t think it was the HC’s chirping that caused the warning. I’m fairly certain the warning went to the 1B coach, and the head coach deserves an explanation when that happens. He didn’t come out to argue, he came out to understand what was happening. And the umpires used the guy falling down after running at the coach to further escalate the entire incident.

It’s a shame that many baseball umpires continue to make the game about them. Sure you have missed calls in every sport, but you never see a basketball or football referee insert himself into a game like a baseball umpire. Multiple ejections over nothing. Some of those basketball refs get chewed the entire game but somehow manage to show some restraint.

Kudos to him.

About damn time. I'm tired of everyone pussyfooting over bad officiating in ncaa. It's time coaches and ADs take a stand for better officiating and demand better and more accountability. Sadly coastal doesn't have the money to make this happen, but **** SEC snd big 10 schools do. But their own officials are garbage

I disagree with your claim that there was nothing that could be done differently by the umpires in a championship series game.

I thought the AD’s statement was also good:

This might also help you understand why the umpires and the NCAA’s response are sh*t:

This is baked into a lot of people’s reactions. If it was commonplace for the top coaches to be ejected every time they had something else to say after a warning, even in a championship series game, people wouldn’t react like they did today.

Good thing this didn't happen in Hattiesburg.....he'd be in cuffs and leg irons before being taken off the field. Maybe a straight jacket too.
