All but Pender, Lejeune, and Trask are still alive for SECOND place going into Friday Night. Some in better shape than others. SWO has to win in order to still have a chance for Conference Title.

Games:

Croatan vs Pender -- Pender is out no matter what. Croatan is 4-1 in conference.

East Carteret vs Lejeune - Lejeune is out. EC is 2-3 and must win, along with loses by Dixon, Croatan, and Richlands. EC is 2-3 in conference

Trask @ SWO - Stallions just have to win. Stallions are 5-0 in conference

Richlands vs Dixon - Richlands has to win for a guarenteed chance at conference championship the last regular season game. Richlands is 4-1 in conference

My best quesstament is:

Croatan
EC
SWO
Richlands -- I wouldnt be that supprised if Dixon won

Aside from the non-conference games its the only Meaningful game we have in conference. And thats because of our win streak. However this year it will have a little more meaning. Last game of the regular season for Something is always good.

Talked to one of the SWO legends about the possibility of Richland's winning. His response, "Everybody thinks they have a chance until they get hit in the mouth".

Should be a nice atmosphere. Richlands fans come out if there is any chance to beat Southwest.

I was kinda thinkin th same thing. If they dont and Croatan wins they can kiss 2nd place goodbye. I'm kinda hoping they will tho. Will give the Richlands fans something to do that Friday Night and there will be almost as many home fans as us. It will be all fun and games Until the game starts. Then the harsh reality sets in. The more things change the more they stay the same. They had their best chance this century, in 2015, we only won 3 games.

To be honest Richlands football community have no clue about football. Now if they had the right coaching staff. Started a good weightlifting program. They could possibly beat sw in 8 years

Richlands was undefeated, had the number 1 defensive player in America, and still couldn't beat SW!!! After that I realized it may never happen. Richlands grew to 3aa levels, and SW shrank to 1aa, they still couldn't beat us! It may never happen.

I think a real good deal would be to combine, Richlands and Dixon into SouthWest Onslow. Both areas have some good players. Guess we would have to go to 4AA tho.

Those games with Mario Williams for Richlands were great ones. To bad they never won anything.

Crazy thing is, my wife is from Richlands. Those little kids destroy Duplin and Pender Counties, as well as Southwest little League. Then they can't win a game in middle school. Maybe they all move away, more likely they have ****** coaches in the school systems. Hard to call.

Southwest has gotten allot of kids that started at Richland's middle schools and made the way to SW for HS! When Padgett was coach many athletes from that area wanted to come to play for him.

It will start to come back around. SWO has more history times 10 more then any school in this area in football. SWO doesn't rebuilt we reload. Padgett was a great coach but his assistant coaches were his bread n butter. Barnes, Eason, Leary, Price, Mcloud, Tucker many more. SWO looks like a college team when Padgett was coaching. Dempsey is bringing the noise back to the corral soon. He's got to win some big games. SWO hasn't had the huge big time players recently no Kendric Burney, Dakota, Brooks brothers, Richard kounce, Dempsey ect...... walking through the doors. Good coaching wins with b+talent. Just wait till the young pups of the SWO legends start putting on the uniform. SWO will be here for a long long long long time
