Auburn: Ross Dellenger shares that new Auburn AD John Cohen's deal is expected to be a 5-year deal that pays about $1.5 million annually, with incentives and "assurances that he will operate his own athletic department."

Might end up being a good thing for them. But it's also a good thing for us.

This combined with the project announcement, makes this a good day for MSU. Hope we stomp Auburn's *** Saturday to culminate.

Cohen will run the aubie AD and straight into the ground. The General, Yellawood and his cronies will run the aubie AD ... take that to the Lowder Bank.

That assurance is worth about as much as a greasy fart. The boosters will captain that ship this time. Book that.
Guessing the assurances aren't there to make sure John has autonomy, it's to make sure he gets paid when he gets ousted for trying to exercise autonomy. Nothing you can put on paper that changes the golden rule.

LOL Oh yeah... That's not going to happen! Boosters are not going to be told what to do at Auburn
Cohen and the Aubie Admins will be like oil and water. Historically they have been on a path of their own.
John....GOOD LUCK!

Oh, and thanks for the $250,000. donation.

He'll operate his athletic department and the boosters will operate their athletic department. **

Baseball team went to CWS last season and basketball team is a year or so removed from final four. The new football coach will have a couple of years honeymoon period. Could Cohen mess it all up? Probably.
