from Oak Grove junior pitcher James McMahon. The article on GP says he topped out at 93 this year. Anyone know more about this kid?

I've never seen him pitch, but I"m pretty sure he's their starting QB, so I bet he has a solid arm

the future closer at MSU. Bittle-esque is the way he was described to me. He throws hard. His splitter is already nasty and he will have 4 solid pitches by the time he gets to campus. MLB will be a factor in the end. Credit Burroughs for this find.

I'm pretty sure that was him, it was the only kid that pitched in the game that looked like he was throwing upper 80's, and they brought him in to close. Looked pretty good, and has another year to get better before stepping on campus.

....if he's throwing a splitter, he's mighty young to be doing it. That's probably the toughest pitch on the elbow. I hope he stays healthy.

that a HS pitcher can throw four pitches at this stage of his career. I wouldn't doubt that it's true since he is from Oak Grove, though.

I'm not missing the days of 5'10" pitchers who throw 80 and have perfect Sunday School attendance.
