Really? I'd say they were the ones that were unlucky. How lucky is it that we even sent this game into extra baseball? That will be the only time a crazy error (luck) like that will be placed onto our laps. Leaving runners on base is this teams problem. That has been Cohens problem since he got here.

And you people bitching about Sam Frost.....he was the best player on our team today, after their shortstop

Cohen gives too many excuses. Every single post-game interview it's excuse after excuse after excuse. I know we are shorthanded and young, but I would be more satisfied with him saying "we just didn't get the job done." I like this group, and I do think we will be a good team over the next few years. Maybe even at the end of this season if we can ever get consistent at the plate.

Frazier crushed the hit, but it really was just bad luck. The first baseman was playing 5 or 6 feet inside the bag, even though there was a runner at first, and just happened to be hit right at him. If he had been playing toward the bag anymore or the hit was a foot higher, it would have been an extra bases hit in the corner while scoring 2. Also, I'm guessing it was a designed hit and run because the runners on base took off as soon as the ball was hit.
