Many players are being given the option to come back and compete for a spot on the 35 man roster.
the question will be how many take the chance, and how many just leave..

<font size="3" face="book antiqua,palatino">State will play three times at Trustmark Park in Pearl next year, facing Ole Miss, Southern Miss and Jackson State. MSU will also play UCLA and Oklahoma in a tournament in Corpus Christi, Texas. The season-opening series will be against either Marshall, St. John's or Tulane. Michigan State, Northwestern State and Western Kentucky will visit Starkville next year, too.</font>

That tournament in Corpus Christi would be a lot of fun. It's a pretty high profile tournament to. And for the Jackson people- the AA franchise that plays there was in Round Rock before they moved to Corpus Christi, and of course they were known as the Jackson Generals before moving to Round Rock. They have a very nice stadium out there.

I'd like to see us play Tulane to start the year of- especially if we get to do a home and home with them with a return visit to New Orleans.
