In the '60s when I was first attending State - OM games, the band uniforms were basically confererate style uniforms.

In the '70s OM Cheerleaders still threw hundreds of rebel flags into the stands, the band played Dixie and Col Reb strolled the sidelines.

No more confederate uniforms, no more rebel flags, no more Colonel Reb ... even symbolic, elected ones 'cause it hurt someone's feelings.

So, just how long will OM be able to keep 'rebels' and 'Ole Miss?' No matter 'how much' they scream and yell that ... it's not the same as giving up the uniforms, flags or Dixie,' it's exactly the same and ... it's not 'if' any more, it's 'when' ... just a matter of time.
