This pisses me off
Dosen't pis me off, but IF UK had a shot I don't think it will turn out to be a wise decision on their partThis pisses me off
Most likely going to be Louisville.

I doubt many HOBers are qualified to be Kentucky's recruiting coordinator. I am happy to leave that chore to Vince Marrow. As far as it goes, there are differing reports as to whether Bentley is even interested in attending Kentucky at all. Besides, I am a believer in the importance of offer sheets. If a high school player has SEC potential, good programs will offer scholarships. The 3 Belfry players do not have impressive offer sheets. Kentucky took Dotson because he is 6-6, 310 pounds with long arms and good feet, meaning that he can be developed as a tackle. In a different year, Kentucky might have pursued Bentley. But this will be a small recruiting class, and offensive guard is 1 position where Kentucky is already set with Meyers, Haynes, GAA, Fortner. As for Horton, Kentucky's coaches had plenty of chances to get a look. We need defensive tackles. So if Horton had the makings of an SEC player, he would already have a Kentucky offer. Look at Horton's weak offer sheet.Rowland tweeted this a couple of days ago.
Don't be surprised if Louisville offers Rayquan Horton. If he and Cole Bentley end up at Louisville some #HOB'ers will have opinions.
Right. Kentucky only has 9 seniors on scholarship this year, so the 2017 recruiting class will be a small class. Kentucky already has Dotson, who is a tackle. Stoops wants 1 more tackle. They want Wills, but they would be glad to take Thayer Munford or Toryque Bateman. They won't take any guards this year because they are set at the position with Meyers, Haynes, GAA, Fortner.Bentley even said in an interview that UK isn't recruiting any interior offensive linemen, which is what he plays. He knows that he is just in the wrong class to be recruited by UK. It isn't that UK doesn't like him, they just have more pressing needs.
UK will pay the price in blood for this day.
Give us a break.UK will pay the price in blood for this day.
Have you looked at Horton's offer sheet? I will grant you that more offers could come in the fall. But Belfry isn't exactly a secret football team. And at this point, not a single significant program seems to be interested. It isn't about his height. The coaches are just concerned about Hortons height. He's a legit 6-1/6-2 and is 308 lbs. They have guys higher on the board but feel they can get him if they want him. Just like OSU does with Ohio guys.
Just checking in with you .... You must be absolutely devastated that Bentley has verballed to the Cards.Hopefully UVA. I doesn't sound like we offered.
Trust me. The situation is shaky but is based mainly on assumptions. The staff seems to be taking an OSU approach in this case. They know Horton is in love with UK and would jump at an offer. He is on their board but not high as of now.Have you looked at Horton's offer sheet? I will grant you that more offers could come in the fall. But Belfry isn't exactly a secret football team. This is called thinking with your heart and not your head. He is a good player and may turn into a great college player but we have signed better players at his position over the last couple of years. When you have limited scholarships, you don't waste them on players you don't need just because they are instate kids. Do you want the best players in the country or the best players in Kentucky? UofL is not beating us out of very many players that we both are offering. They are signing players that we don't want for the most part. This is a good sign that we should have superior talent in the coming years.UK will pay the price in blood for this day.
He could be a good player, Rob just seems to ***** on almost every post. I feel like he trolls a lot.How so?
Maybe he thinks he is a really good prospect, that we will miss in a couple of years (although our OL seems to have a great future), I don't think Kash was considered a great prospect at this time in his career. But then I do trust our staff to do a great job in their evaluations, and I trust them in this one.
I just hate to see any Kentucky kids go to that cesspool, especially one that could turn out to be very good.
By the way, I usually appreciate your posts, you give good info.
I know people close to the Belfry program. Bentley is known to have a bad work ethic. That's one of the biggest reasons I didn't care if UK offered.
Things can change but going into his junior year I talked with 3 different individuals that has sons that play for Belfry. They all mentioned Bentley as having a lazy streak. All 3 said he had the ability to be great if he put in the work. This is not what I've heard
