Offense: [A] <span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-spacere"> </span>Saw some good production. Minus the miscues at the beginning with LT, I think it'll be a productive offense. Ballard is steal beastly and showed speed.<div><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-spacere"> </span>Lewis showedhe can be an extra weapon.I am not really concerned on offense.<div>
</div><div>Defense: [B-]<span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-spacere"> </span>Looked rusty. Minus Cox so might get better. Decent production from D-Line but LB's didnt show much. I hope to see some improvement over the next 9 days. We need the extra time here.</div><div>

I am not going to be too judgmental since it is only first game of the year. not sure how the o-line will fare against lsu and au. Great use of offensive weapons. Relf was awesome. Russell is much improved. Great that just about every skill player got at least a stat. Glad to see Heavens get one late in the game. Concerned about the two or three strings of 5=15 yard plays they put together against our defense. I do think we have work to do there. Kick off and punt coverage were about the best I've seen from us. I didn't go all in with Mullen at the start, but now the results are showing themselves. i think we need to stick with him through the good and bad times for a while. Love the hurry up offense and the way we didn't let up before the buzzer, both at half time and at the end of the game. Mullen says play all out, and our players are buying it. Wow.

Disappointed to miss that field goal. JWS was right about the importance of the kicking game. The kicking was pretty good, except for that, and that was not a terrible miss. It's the kind that can be corrected.

Going to be a very intense season, I think. Wow again.

that concerns me with the hurry up offense is if you don't convert 3rd downs you don't let your own defense get much rest. We went 4-12 on 3rd downs. That won't cut it with an SEC team. <div>
</div><div>It's really hard to tell what kind of team we'll have from this game. We played a ton of guys on the def. front 7 in a lot of combinations. I don't think we'll see as many against Aub. </div><div>
</div><div>Overall, a good first game and a lot to look at for the coaches. Just got to keep getting better.</div><div>
</div><div>Edited to add, we played 66 guys tonight. Great for the coaches to look at in the film room.</div>
