Can you run it for when the tournament started playing a 3 games series for the championship? Think that was 2003. Probably won't change too much, but still the most apt comparison.

It’s a hard sport to look at over a long period of time. 10 years ago Rice and Fullerton were still relevant and Tennessee was in the middle of a 14 year NCAAT drought.

Miami is the crazy one to me. Talk about a national power that has fallen off the map.

And it's not just money. The areas that are playing a lot of youth baseball have shifted.

Seven of the top ten are SEC teams, and we just hired the coach of the only ACC team in the top ten. The neighbor we have to play in is just insanely tough. Can’t wait to see what kind of team we put on the field next year.
