that they met to go over the results of the candidates' background checks. Doesn't sound like an emergency to me, particuarly given that Ross was quoted after the fact as saying there were no suprises.

in someone's closet and it is now removed. who knows. it is a bit surprising that there was this "emergency" meeting and then nothing comes of it. could just be the press acting crazy of course.

It's not to hard to imagine there could be scheduling problems with starting a second round of interviews next week. Now, if it's delayed too much beyond that, it would look more like there is something more to the story.

agreed. i wasn't very clear. i was meaning that the press probably called it the "emergency" meeting to blow it into something that we ended up finding out was nothing.

as for the press in a coverup...you are right ... never happen.
