Best line? "I intend to be here a long time........"
You hear the guy speak and it's clear that he is a Chicago guy. He's got the accent, the values and the connection to the city that it is fairly safe to say he is in a great situation.

When I hear him speak, I hear intensity, passion and honesty. No a bit of snakiness gratitude. He actually might ne a little too intense and serious, I don't know if I have ever heard him joke around. But he just comes off as thoughtful and candid. I really think he will be successful beyond our expectations at NU.

It was a really interesting interview. I forget that he was there for the year Coach K took a leave and Duke tanked, and then he was instrumental in helping them get back to the tournament the next year. You can tell he both loves NU and is a Dukie at heart. I hope he wins enough here to succeed Coach K one day.

I wonder if he will give Tre the same instruction about shooting he got from Coach K as a senior......

Here's the thing about Collins. I don't think he will ever leave NU. But, if he does leave one day for Duke, I will totally understand and won't have any hard feelings.

I agree. NU can be his program. At Duke he will just be the coach who succeeded coach K
