The Colonial Forge Eagles made a trip to Chesterfield looking to
advance past the second round of the postseason for the third
consecutive season, but they were facing a Thomas Dale Knights squad
who entered the contest on a nine-game winning streak having not lost
since they fell to L.C. Bird on September 5th in a 20-15 contest.
The
Eagles jumped on them early but the Knights turned in a couple of big
plays in the second quarter to carry a lead into halftime. However, the
second half, and specifically, the third quarter was all Colonial Forge
as they secured a 38-28 victory.
