soft commit means you have an official visit scheduled.

hard or lock means you don't have an official visit scheduled.

Any time a recruit is committed but takes other visits, they are listed as soft verbals. However, I'm starting to get a bit concerned that Redmond is going to leave, and that Coman may be influenced by Beniquez Brown to leave, even though Brown hasn't given a verbal to any school yet. I still would like Coman even if Brown doesn't come, but I really don't want to lose Redmond. He's a lock down corner that would probably get to play very early in his career.
